The Search for Outstanding FEU Senior Students 2023
The Ten (10) Outstanding Senior Students (TOSS) of the Far Eastern University is an annual program that is held to recognize outstanding FEU Fourth- or Fifth-year students for their academic excellence, outstanding leadership, extensive community involvement, and exemplary moral values (anchored on fortitude, excellence, and uprightness).
Recognized outstanding senior year students, as well as nominees, will serve as a potent pool for the University’s selection of its official candidates for different searches like the Dr. Nicanor Reyes Sr. Leadership Award and the Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines (TOSP).

Recognized outstanding senior year students, as well as nominees, will serve as a potent pool for the University’s selection of its official candidates for different searches like the Dr. Nicanor Reyes Sr. Leadership Award and the Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines (TOSP).
Qualifications
- Filipino citizen, not more than 30 years old, of good moral character with no suspension or major violations and without any record of a criminal conviction.
- A bona fide graduating student (senior category – 4th year of a 4-year course; 5th year of a 5-year course) of the current school year (SY 2022-2023) from a first bachelor’s degree.
- An outstanding student in academic and co- and extra-curricular activities.
- No failing grade/s, and no dropped/withdrawn subjects throughout his/her first year to present in college. For shifters and transferees, the applicant must not have failing marks from his/her previous school or college/institute/department.
- Strong sense of volunteerism evidenced by community extension services.
- Sound and consistent leadership experience.
- Achievements in their field of specialization or co-curricular activities.
- Personal values anchored on a living faith in God, sensitivity towards others, sincere determination to help, and firm moral conviction/integrity.
- Above-average communication skills.
Requirements
- Five (5) printed copies of duly accomplished application form inclusive of all supporting documents in sequential order.
- All documents for submission must be in A4-sized bond paper (21 cm X 29.7cm) enclosed in a long brown envelope. Write your name (Last, First) on the brown envelope.
- Scan your documents, save in PDF and send to [email protected] and [email protected] on or before 4 PM of June 2, 2023.
- Submit the hard copy to Ms. Marge Rodriguez on or before 4 PM of June 2, 2023 at EB 102.

- Recommendation Letter from a person (not relatives) with a deep knowledge of the personal history of the nominee (may be a Mentor, Counselor, Community or Church Leader or any person of good repute who worked with the nominee). The recommendation must specify the reasons and circumstances surround the nominee’s life story that are vital to his/her being an outstanding student.

□ Academic Performance
Shall include only photos of awards with descriptive captions (name of honor/award, date, venue, and award-giving bodies), copies of newspaper clippings, or certificates.
□ Leadership
Shall include only copies of certificates, newspaper clippings, photos of activities (name of activity, date, venue, and organizing bodies), or photos of awards (for co- and extra-curricular awards).
□ Social Responsibility
Shall include only copies of certificates, newspapers clipping, photos of activities (name of activity, date, venue, and organizing committees), or photos of awards (for civic involvements and services).
- Only one (1) proof/supporting document shall be submitted for each claim.
- Supporting documents should not include minutes of the organizational meetings, project evaluation reports, thesis and feasibility studies, project proposals, general plans of actions, calendar of activities.
- For certificates and newspaper clippings, photocopied materials are preferred.
